Regional Center of the East Bay (RCEB)
www.rceb.org RCEB is a private, non-profit corporation under contract with the California Department of Developmental Services that provides intake, assessment, and case management services to individuals and their families in Alameda and Contra Costa counties. Their site includes location maps of Regional Centers throughout the state with links to field offices and other related events, jobs, quality and satisfaction. Other sites profiled support CA legislative information and regulations affecting those with disabilities. Various directories and publications are available for download through sites featured.

Give them our name, address and phone number. United Way or your workplace may also ask you for our tax ID #. We can give this to you or they will call us to verify our 501(c)(3) status.

We meet together the 4th Wednesday of each month.
The Sharing Advantage Program-Help spread the word! Wells Fargo Home Mortgage has a program that can help support the DSC. Through The Sharing Advantage Program, each time a customer closes a home purchase or refinance loans with them, they will make a $300.00 contribution to us!|
CREATIVE DANCE for CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS-San Ramon Valley Dance Academy is delighted to host a weekly class this summer for children with special needs, which will explore creativity, musicality, and movement through dance. For more information, call the Academy at (925).837.4656|

Nicole Patton is a board certified music therapist. She has a bachelor's degree in music therapy and a master's degree in special education. At this time Nicole is interested in offering individual therapy to families as an independent contractor. The Connection is offering a class in music therapy at this time. There are many laws affecting children with special health care needs/disabilities that are undergoing revision and/or reauthorization at this time, budget deficits on both the federal and state levels are or will soon have many impacts on the services that are delivered to children with special health care needs/disabilities from various agencies. Because things change quickly, the internet is an ideal place to track current legislative action.
