| To promote natural interaction and learning between kids with special needs and their typical peers. It is natural for children to learn from each other. When any child is with a group of peers, he or she will have an opportunity to mimic or practice behaviors and skills that they will use throughout life. Buddy play invites ALL children to participate in themed playgroups where children can "buddy-up" with a partner and have fun. This is also an excellent opportunity for siblings to share in fun various experiences with one another. |
